Mentor of the Year Award
The Mentor of the Year Award honors a CREW Orlando member who has served as a mentor for the Future Leaders Mentorship Program. This person consistently exemplifies the traits of outstanding mentorship, including authenticity, being a connector and a good communicator, being accessible, and positively impacting the professional development and career trajectory of their mentee.
Criteria for the Mentor of the Year Award may include:
demonstrating a commitment to mentoring and empowering women in their personal growth, career, or as leaders within the chapter;
serving as a mentor for consecutive years;
providing creative input to help grow the program and ensure success of program participants, future and present;
going beyond the minimum requirements of the Future Leaders Mentorship Program;
integrating new CREW Orlando members into the program, and supporting the success of program participants beyond the program duration;
consistently encouraging and inspiring others within the program to grow as leaders and providing opportunities for them to succeed;
innovating new ideas to help others reach their personal or career goals, and generally embodying the traits of a trusted and experienced mentor within CREW Orlando.
